I am Madison Hanna, a sister, a friend, a helper, a proud Pittsburgh native, and a 2022 graduate of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. I have pursued philanthropic studies as my undergraduate degree in order to follow my passions and grow my knowledge and understanding of the nonprofit sector. My minor in sociology has helped me to gain a better understanding of how philanthropy affects every walk of life. My passions vary from arts and culture, mental health, the refugee crisis, to environmental and food sustainability. My dream is to create an environment where all walks of life can gather to share their story over food that is locally grown.

"The desire of power in excess caused the angels to fall; the desire of knowledge in excess caused man to fall: but in charity there is no excess; neither can angel nor man come in danger by it"
Sir Francis Bacon
